(no subject)

This afternoon I went to an Ikea for the first time. Not only did I find neat furniture for my room, but I'm pretty sure I got high off of swedish meatballs, gravy, baked potatoes, and lingonberry sauce. Like whoa.

I intend to write a disgustingly long entry about my weekend trek up to Worcester, MA but that would involve staying upright for more than ten minutes. I have half a mind to plead off the gym this evening and just sit in with a couple of cups of tea. Wednesday starts the work schedule from hell, with two three days in a row stints and two four-day weeks. I'm dreading it from now.

Oh, and thanks for the voting. One of the few times I was completely indecisive. I'll sign up for intensive spanish classes over at NYU and do the German on my own for now.

Where? In the membrane, babe.

As I continue my post fragments (theme day?): The Wire = awesome. I would say it's a new fandom, but time spent strolling through the Internet has taught me that I never get quite obsessive enough to throw that term around (although the thing I had for QAF back during my last year of college? the thing that made me go out, buy the first two seasons AND a DVD player, run to my computer and join a kazillion fan 'net watering holes? yeah, that was fairly close). However (and, mind, I just wrapped up Season 1), McNulty and Stringer Bell? Chuck a slash between those proper nouns, because the scenes between them? Hawt with a capital "caliente".

...

Leave me be, peeps. Fo' serious. It's all there on the video tape.
