The iPod is officially gone. I hope the dickwad that decided to liberate it from my possession appreciates all the hours of Supernatural, Avatar, Battlestar Galactica, and Stargate Atlantis on that thing. Crap. That was the only gift I got for my b-day. *sniff*
Also, on the fritz? My computer. This is the first time it's managed to stay on for more than ten minutes since early this morning. Now I really *do* need that laptop. I hope to make moves toward the Apple Store tomorrow morning.
And let me not forget the stomach virus (noro?) that's been making the rounds in my family. My great-grandmother came out of the hospital with it, my grandmother, aunt, and one of her kids suffered through it, my mom had it a couple of days ago, oldest bro has some mild GI symptoms, and my stomach's growling like an ankle-biter trying to scare off a letter carrier. We just came back from CVS, where we bought four bottles of Pepto. I'm pretty sure we're going to finish them off in a hurry.
The year's coming to a close and I don't think I met a single resolution I posted back in January. The lesson learned? Don't make resolutions.
This next year I hope to a) keep my job while not burning out (Lord help me), b)travel more (or save for a trip to Hawaii in 2009), c) meet more of you folk (Atlanta, anyone?), and other stuff that I'll most likely think of when I don't feel like crap.
I just tried to post this and my internet access went out. There's, like, this vast technology conspiracy against me, I swear to God.
Be well, be well, and be well, folks. It's been a pleasure.
