Time passes

Dad came over today to cut my aunt's lawn. He and my cousin worked outside, I stayed upstairs "studying". I came down before he left and greeted him. Got a good look at him in the light. His beard and his moustache are seriously graying. I just...it makes him look so old. I never really thought of him as old before. It's like it happened overnight. Never noticed that before. It has me troubled.

Watching "Celebrity Poker Showdown". This week's airing has Doogie Howser Neil Patrick Harris on it. I always call that man Doogie. It's ridiculous. 'til the day he dies he will be Doogie. I just find that funny (because I'm not the one forever associated with a character I played fifteen years ago). Even while watching Undercover Brother (such a tremendously funny movie) I kept calling the man Doogie. So much better than Neil Patrick Harris.
