So late to the party
I have this habit of catching onto shows after they're well on their way. It has something with me being so childish and stubborn that I find myself willfully fighting the (usually) Internet hype on them. Once my curiousity is peaked, the shows are either onto an advanced season (The Sopranos, Frasier, for example) or cancelled (Firefly, Family Guy). Luckily for me there's the wonder of DVD boxed sets. I picked up the first few episodes of Alias, Season 1, and I'm LOVING IT. It's weird because, as a Television Without Pity follower, I know a number of little things about the show, ( Major spoilers for the show, if you're the least bit a spoiler virgin... ) But I'm enjoying the ride. The episodes end in the "tear your hair out" suspense way that kills me. But in a good way. I'm totally planning on going to BB and stealing those things off the shelf.
And Victor Garber? Inbe-fuckin'-lievably hot-worthy. I've been feening on this guy since Annie back in, what? 1994? 1995? Damn.
Oh! Last night I dreamt that I met Hal Sparks. In a random room, seemed like the corridor of a hospital. I was all "Ah! Hal Sparks! I love you. But, you know, not in a creepy stalker way. Ha ha, I don't even know you. I mean, I know your work on the show and it's great. Eh." His expression (in my head) was priceless. I like how my Alias marathon session led to other TV stuff coming to the unconscious surface.
