That time of the week

Waiting for lab to start here at Brookdale. This is looking to be the easiet Chem lab EVER. All we're doing is working with models (fuckin' MODELS) and then answering questions. I did more than half already. Since I'm none too good at in-depth visualization and I lost all my model pieces from my previous Orgo experience, I need to wait until class starts to finish it up. I hope I don't get held back by my labmate. I'm so out of there by 3:30 (is it obvious that I have no patience at the moment?).

Found my first grey hair. Like, seriously. Very much a "wtf??!" moment. Mom started greying when she hit...? 30? My aunt was seriously hitting the dye bottle by 25. I'm hoping I'm not a late starter but fast bloomer. Cuz that would suck.

My father apparently had a seizure while in Florida. They called and told us about it this morning, when they'd come back from the hospital. I told him to stay away from the weed. Nothing but trouble.

I want to go home. Fuck these retards. And this class. And the water that they let overflow the sink and run ALL OVER THE GODDAMN FLOOR. Jesus H. Cristo.

I'm so tired of my brothers. Maybe that's where the grey hair came from.

It's a wrap

As I suspected, I was held back in lab by my classmates. It's odd, thinking the material is easy and then being confronted by what seems like a labful of kids that have no clue what's going on. I think I would have been done by 3:00 at the latest if I didn't spend time trying to explain what went where. As it was, I ended up leaving at 3:30 with profuse apologies to the few people I'd left behind. I thought I had the Gamestop interview today, but it ended up being tomorrow. The guy saw me anyway, another kid. The whole "manager younger than you bit" will definitely stop being cute in about 10 years. Right now, it's just irksome. He's supposed to call me back on Sunday with news. I had no idea you had to pimp stuff at Gamestop too; you're supposed to push game reservations and the Game Informer magazine (which my brother, apparently, got suckered into). We'll see how that goes.

Tomorrow, it's up bright and early to deal with the kids. Joy.
