What do you mean by "too far in the system"? I like Kornheiser's Old School Sportsman roots. Neither he nor Wilbon usually come out with radical opinions on the topics they tend to cover, but the 1.5 minute limit per topic doesn't necessarily allow for huge divergence in opinion...at least, not if you expect some semi-intelligent back and forth. They keep it snappy, I'll give them that much.

Stylistically, he's the lovechild of Keith Olbermann and Peter Griffin.
I've read some of Simmons's stuff. Never thought to label him with that one, though. :) You have a point, though. If he could talk the way he writes it'd work out.
