Must post something

I made a CVS run this morning and picked up a thing (container?) of Secret deodorant, Vanilla Chai-scented. It was a little pricey but I thought to myself "self, you like vanilla chai! that seems like a good idea". Now, in what world is it good to have your armpits smelling like chai? Seriously, what the hell was wrong with me? I'm going to use the crap, don't get me wrong, but still.

I have absolutely no summer vacation plans. In fact, I'm working on getting a few overtime gigs at the job. I'm trying to see if I can get work approval to head to the AMSN Conference this year, which will be held in Vegas. I figure I'll let mumsy come along as well and pay for her plane ticket as a birthday gift. Educational fun AND wallet-emptying, the perfect combination.

i bought vanilla deodorant once. for some reason the scent seemed much stronger than others i've tried - it overwhelmed my perfume even. i got about 1/3 of the way through it and surrendered. too much sickly sweet vanilla under my arms was a very bad thing indeed.

It IS very strong, and it doesn't seem to back off as the day wears on. In fact, it seems like sweat *activates* some additional odor backup or something. I've had it on for seven hours and my nose still hasn't become acclimated to the small. I just don't want to admit defeat and chuck the thing; I spent four dollars on it, dammit!
