Note to journal
1. The Hoveround Commercial? The one with the old folks driving around while soundtracked by "I Get Around"? Where they're doing all sorts of kooky synchronized moves, so they end up like beached synchronized swimmers? Scares the shit out of me. All it would take is one rush of strings to turn the whole thing into a Stephen King story. You know, one of the good scary ones from his alcoholic days.
2. WIPs continue to be the work of the devil. I hate when I get suckered into reading one and it ends in the manner of a cliffhanger. Gah!
3. re: TB dude. It's nice to know that I took isoniazid for nine months (nine months without alcohol, mind) and could *still* end up with the disease because of arrogant people like him. And I know the complete details of the case have yet to emerge (was he active? was he latent? was he really given the okay to travel? what authority did he speak with before his departure?), but this a-hole *knew* he wasn't supposed to travel after he'd been contacted by the CDC while in Europe and he decided to do it anyway. No WORDS, I tell you. Just flames on the sides of my face.
4. Nintendo DS is full of WIN. Well, except when I'm getting my ass handed to me in Mario Kart.
5. Also full of win? William Sadler. My bizarre crush knows no bounds.

#2: What's a WIP? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WIP isn't helpful.
#3: I don't have anything to add to this. TB is bad. I'm against it.
#4: I love my (red, flame-covered) DS more than I have words to adequately express. I fear for my wallet... the damage the Nintendo World Store* will do to it may be rated at 'cataclysmic'.
#5: Section 31 will crush you like a doodlebug.
*Is it bad that it's the only must-do on my trip to NYC? That's bad, right?

re: your No 2 - Work In Progress = WIP. Designates stories that aren't complete. More often than not means the author has lost motivation and/or direction and has decided to abandon the work. Argh.
re: your No. 4 - DUDE! If you're going to be available Monday afternoon we could pow-wow there. After I leave work I intend to head over to pick up a DS + a couple of games for my brother's b-day. I want to see if they have any colors available beside white, black, or pink.
re: your No. 5 - I forgot he was on DS9! Jesus, the man just gets better and better. Tells you how few nerd points I have left: I had to Google "Section 31".

#2 Ohhhhhh. I'll fill in the rest of this comment later.
#4 DUDE. Also, I apparently need to visit Barcade at some point while I'm up there. Also, Katz's.
#5 That's all I know him from. Do I lose nerd points for that, or gain them? I'm so confused.
