While I do try not to hold preconceived visual notions of my LJ friends... I'm afraid I end up visualizing everyone on LJ as some semi-human compilation of all of their LJ icons... So, real human images almost always come as a surprise!

I do that too. It's part of the reason why I like throwing up my South Park icon every so often. It's me! In animated form!
