Three guesses as to who went to The Cloisters this past Friday.

Take your time, please.

If you like medieval displays the Cloisters is the spot to hit. And what's nice is that if you're on an art kick you can hit the Cloisters and the Met in the same day with no additional charge.

The park surrounding it is nice enough to allow for a day trip when you do make it out. :)

Let us not forget the eventful walk down Adam Clayton Powell Jr to Central Park. Harlem! *grin*

Btw - your pics are lovely. I'm glad you got to chill under your tree on Saturday. :)

I love The Cloisters. Maybe I'll go... I'm in the city until Wednesday morning.

Dude, way to break through the stereotypes. :)
(But, yeah, I'm totally feeling the chicken and waffles).
(Told my brothers what you said about the bones, btw; they busted out laughing, then were all "oh my god, that's so true")

Perfect weather for it. Fort Tryon is a great place for a picnic as well.
