This is why my weekends tend to be non-productive. Because at the moment my activity level switch is set at "read all the fic?? READ ALL THE FIC!" I'm just going to finish this cracked out Avengers story where Tony Stark has been accidently turned into a female by Loki and that is it! I'm totally going to get up and do my Spanish and Pain Management homework after that. Yup. Totes will.

...

Yup. ::tries to ignore the eight other tabs of fic staring me in the face::

I was contemplating not going to Dragon Con this year. My vacation requests for the week before and week after Labor Day were denied, and there might be a good chance that I won't be able to get the Thursday and Friday before off. But Misha Collin, Nimoy and The Shat, Nicholas Brendon, and Michael Whelan are scheduled to attend. I'm going to hold on to hope that work won't shaft me too badly this time around.

Reading this post just now is kind of awesome because we've been discussing dog names this morning and Loki is at the top of our list. And so is Six, because I want nerds to ask me if it's named after The Prisoner or the BSG cylon, and then I can answer no, it's from Blossom's friend.

But anyway. Is Dragon Con still on Labor Day weekend? They moved PAX a weekend earlier, so it's kind of tempting to think about going to both, as exhausting and expensive as it sounds.

My aunt had a dog named Loki. Little sprightly thing, adorable as hell.
I think naming your dog Six might confuse it a bit. Six does get said an awful lot. But it is cute. *grin* The "Blossom's friend" line rocks. Nice that you have your answers ready in advance.

DCon is always Labor Day weekend. It's an experience. Gotten very very busy and crowded recently, but very fun.
