I really should be beyond this
K, I'm a nurse. I *know* that it tends to be called a cold sore and anywhere from 50-60% of the population are estimated to be carriers. But whenever I break out with those blisters on my lips? I can't help but fall into the trap of feeling dirty. It doesn't help that I just happened to break out on a day that I've been extremely critical of my appearance. Ain't nothing hotter than an active virus outbreak. Yeah, baby!
P.S. - I blame the pool and my swim mates, along with the all the germ-laden folks at the Y. This breakout may be the worst I've ever had. I'm so over it right now, and they only popped out this evening. *headdesk*
