Random Ish

I caught my first glimpse of "Queer as Folk" last night. It's addictive, but comes off as simply a "Sex in the City" that focuses on gay individuals. It's surprising that Hal Sparks is on that show. That guy is cute as a button. And obviously insecure as all hell. I guess having to simulate sex on other guys would do that to a straight man but...if you were secure in your sexuality, wouldn't you be able to go into interviews and not constantly reassert that you're straight? The few interviews I've caught him in, he's been quick to say things like "I love the ladies" and/or other seemingly hastily put together horny heterosexual male remarks. It's hilarious actually. But the man's such a good actor it isn't funny. Of course he is. He can act like he's gay.
