This guy does not rock.

I'm trolling a number of bulletin boards, trying desperately to get sources/info for my paper on Gay and Lesbian comic book heroes for my draft that's due on Monday. *Desperately* being the operative word here. It's damn near impossible to find books on the subject, and I'm scared at the presumptiousness involved in saying a number of characters got "outed" during the heyday of the "gay chic" movement of the mid-late 90's. Mainly because it calls for lots of research that I'm unsure I'll have time for. ANYWHO, I ran across this guy here, and all I have to say is "Damn, they must have been desperate." A flying saucer? And what's up with his name? Jebus.

A few sites I found. Be warned, though, a few of them seem to really reach.

Thanks for the links, btw. They're helpful, for the most part.

*sigh* Wish me uber-luck, dude.

I have to do a paper on the the Stonewall riots of 1969 - "the riots that sparked the gay revolution" and I don't want to, lol.

Dude, there's so much info out in Stonewall! Your paper should be a breeze.

If you want a clue as to where to look, just ask me. I've done oodles of Stonewall for my Lit class.

Since you said to ask for clues...

I have three books Before Stonewall, Stonewall, and Stonewall :the riots that sparked the gay revolution (or something like that). I would like a little more info so any help would be greatly appriciated.

I remember this one gay cowboy comic book character.
Now, if it was manga, this'd be easier. like, 50% gay men or something. Heh.

I know. I've run across a number of articles on gay love in Japanese comics. It would be easier on me if I tackled it, but I'm wary to look at non-US topics because our class generally isn't internationally oriented, and I know little about it. Half-assed reasons, I know, but I'm a lazy bastid.
