Stick a fork in me.

Arrrrrrrrrrgh! /Charlie Brown

No respite in sight. Bad day. 80/100 on an exam I needed to do well on. I would have forced a tear out, but I was dehydrated from the cup of coffee I'd had that morning. Thanksgiving means lots of cooking, lots of cleaning, no real "vacation" until Friday. BUT WAIT, I have two frakking group presentations to work on, one of which requires me to trek up to Harlem early Saturday morning. Group presentations must die a slow death.

[bitchy rant]*sigh*

LJ is still not working. LJ is broken! ::throws yoke reins in disgust, stomps around fallow rice paddy::

At least I get a chance to play Sims 2 tonight. My rich younger brother has taken pity on me and allowed me some playtime with his snazzy new laptop.

"Boody Noir"? Arguably the best Harvey Birdman episode EVER. If you're up and reading this early Wed. morning you can catch it again on CN at 3:30 EST.

OOOOO. Nice. I have Sims 2. The Sims are so....expressive. It's actually the funniest part of the game. And they marry so quickly. I always want to be sadistic when my Sims and then I end up feeling guilty. Guilty about harming game characters. Seriously, I hope there is therapy for that shit.

Good luck with the rest of your presentations. I hope you get a chance to rest!

It is tons of fun. I played in-between womanning the food last night. The only thing that's a bit weird is the fast rate in which the sims age; I mean, you're an adult and you basically work for 4 weeks before you become an elder person? Thank goodness for the non-aging cheat. Once my teen becomes an adult I'm going to freeze their ages for a while so I can make some more cash and connections. I do find it hard to toggle between sim needs, mainly because I'm on a laptop without an external mouse. But it's almost as engrossing as the first sims.

I think that makes you normal. *grin* My teen collapsed from exhaustion last night and I felt like such a piece of shit. It didn't help that her dad kept hovering around her and making sounds of distress. The girl is going to school and working - is there any wonder why she can't socialize enough and get her work done? Gah.

Thanks for the well wishes! Happy Turkey Day!

Is that the Harvey Birdman episode with the slutty chick that ends up using him???? I also loved the Birdgirl episode. I have to record them because they air too late for me (I'm a wuss).

"Boody Noir" is the one with Monifa(?), Black Vulcan's g-friend, where she shacks up with Reducto and he constantly enlarges her already large boody. I find it endlessly amusing.

I also loved the Birdgirl episode.
Wasn't there more than one?

Aww. Catch them on DVD. I think the first season, at least, is out.

I have the 1st season on DVD, but I was talking about the last season (the most recent).....there was one episode with Birdgirl that was pretty funny (I don't know the name), anyhow, that is what I was talking about. Hee.

I'm excited about Thanksgiving this year. I like to cook! For me, if I don't come in to work tomorrow, it counts as a vacation day. Boo for that! So, I have to decide if I want only 9 more vacation days or whether I want to drive all that way, knowing the commute is so quick only because no one else is working!

See? Misery loves company.
