Boobies!

Participated in the "Walk for the [Breast Cancer] Cure" this morning. Managed to overhear one woman talking about her post-walk plans as we were powerwalking by: "I'm gonna go home, rest for a bit, crochet, and then watch some Lifetime." Dead. Up. that is what she said with a straight face. The estrogen knocked me over for a bit. That and the huge fit of giggles I had to surpress.

You fail at boobies.

Sorry. I'm on SEVERAL feeds with the [livejournal.com profile] jassa-troll.

Yeah. It's gotta be "BOOBIES!!" with the "drunken whore" icon, or nothing at all.

Of course, I forgot to include HIS stock reply. (It's a picture of a preteen in a training bra.)

Yeah. Some people have way too much time on their hands.

*grin* Exactly my reaction. The crocheting PLUS Lifetime? There are limits.

What's even funnier is my dad watches Lifetime movies sometimes. My dad. I don't think he even cares that it's "Television for Women". Maybe I should point that out to him sometime. >:)

oh dear god...whenever i go over my mom's house and she has some lifetime movie on, she feels it's her duty to explain **in excruciating detail** what has happened up until that point even though i have by that time opened a book or a magazine

*grin* And you no doubt know the plot anyway. Something something abusive spouse or something something pregnant teen or something something women finding themselves. Yadda yadda, Lifetime; yadda yadda.

So people *do* watch Lifetime. I quickly flip past when I turn the television on. Scariness.

Every time I flash by it on the TV Guide channel it's showing something about women running from men or moms dealing with pregnant daughters or Reba. REBA. I fear if I ever stayed on it for too long my menses would spontaneously kick in.
