Sense? What is this of which you speak?

I have errands to run, a house to help clean, and Turkey Day dinner to cook, and I can't find it in me to leave the house or move. Sheet.

On occasion I feel pressed to make short semi-sensical LJ posts (as opposed, say, to my usual long nonsensical ones). This is one of those occasions.

In conclusion - what the hell happened to James Spader? I've heard of people going from geeky to attractive as they age, but he's managed to break the mold by doing the opposite. I barely recognized the man when I was flipping channels the other day. Don't get me wrong, I can dig geeky (oh man can I dig geeky) but he just looks so *different*. Not ringing the same bells for me.

must be a slight disappointment: the number of times I've seen you write about "THE SPADER!!!!"... [that was you, right?]

Don't worry... short posts happen. It's what I do most of the time just now - when I can be bothered :)

I'm pretty sure the person cyber-screeching "the Spader[!!!]" was me. I find myself wondering if he hasn't come down with a glandular disease of some sort. His, particularly his lower jaw, is puffy beyond what can normally be ascribed to older age's extra padding. No matter, as his hotness is preserved on the screen.

As long as we get some word of you I can deal with the short posts. :)

Didn't he play the "hot guy" in some Molly Ringwald 80's movie?....odd...Spader as "the hot guy" :P

*grin* He's played "the hot guy" in a couple of movies: Crash (from the 90's, not the newish movie that came out), Stargate (although he was sort of nerdily hot there, but whatever)...not that I keep count, of course.

I totally saw a piece of 'Pretty in Pink' the other night. Man o man, I still have a crush on James Spader. Short of pooping on-screen, I think I will always have a crush on him. Weird crush I decided I had today? Thomas Dolby. Sometimes bald guys can be hot. (And speaking of geeky...oh wow...in a fantastic way).

I still have a cold and have barely moved today. And I feel just fine about that. My dad is about to make Dan, myself, and him watch a version of Ulysses, which might actually be cool.

He was in Pretty in Pink? He played an a-hole in that movie, didn't he? Dang, now I have to watch it. :)

Bald guys, definitely. Weird interest on my part? Overbites. Exhibit A - Christian Bale (pre-dental fix). I can watch the man's mouth all day...and the rest of him isn't half-bad either.

I hope you're feeling better. Colds simply aren't fun.

Just wanted to let you know that I didn't forget to call about The People's Court airdates. I've called twice and they said they don't have the airdates yet. I'm going to call again on the 11th of December. Hopefully I'll know something by then, but as soon as I do know I'll relay the information. :)
