Overstaffing + option to go back home for the win

The staffing person managed to stick *eight* nurses on the floor this evening; five is the usual number. One person called out, but that still left seven people scratching their heads looking at the assignment board while the assistant manager tried to figure out what to do. Once she mentioned going home I jumped all on it: the Snot Monster is still lodged in my nares, and I have a headache that has fought off numerous aspirin attacks. So now: four days off in a row, babee! ::fistpump:: Not getting paid is a minus, but a minor one at this point.

Oh, and for [personal profile] nelliewu, re: the "Snot Monster" references - The Tick vs. The Uncommon Cold (split into three parts)

AND I watched the live-action version. AND I bought it on DVD. Patrick Warburton did a great Tick, I tell you what.
