My last night
Patient: Help me! Oh, somebody help me!

fredericks: ::enters the room:: Can I help you, ma'am?
Patient: Someone needs to help me. I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die, aren't I?
fredericks: Not while I'm here.
Patient: Then you better not leave.
Later
Patient: Am I going to die?
fredericks: ::pauses:: It's okay, we all die eventually.
It should be noted that this patient was quite confused and I was quite tired. The first exchange cracked my shit up. The second threw me for a loop. Two more days.
