"Make sense", you say? What does that mean?

I worked Monday night into Tuesday and instead of going home to sleep I went to get my hair done at the parlor and then went to the mall for shoes and make-up. I make a note of the make-up because I usually don't wear any of the stuff, and haven't spent a significant amount of money on it since right before my trip to Italy in HS. I walked into MAC, made a fluttering notion around my face with my hands and said "fix me" when confronted by one of the workers there. I was a bit concerned when I looked at the workers, as they seemed to be rejected extras from "Velvet Goldmine", but the young lady who did my make-up did a great job. I told her before she started that she could go all-out and I'd most likely end up purchasing everything she threw my way. I did, and then I dragged my sleepy ass home to prepare for middle bro's graduation. Summed up: blah blah, horrible band played, boring speeches (I'm still baffled by the whole "having an average higher than 100" thing), sit through all the names being called, leave. Soon as we got home I went to bed and slept my way to 2PM. Funny to think that I've only been up for two hours. It's still hot like FIRE outside and I'm not going anywhere, so pick something, peeps.

P.S. - The new Harry Potter movie looks mad hot, yo. We're so going to see that at IMAX on opening day.

P.P.S. - The Transformers movie looks mad hot too, yo. I'm ridiculously stoked that they got Peter Cullen to do voice over work in it.

I think it's easier to go directly to a store than it is to go to a department in a mall. I actually had to head to the MAC department in Bloomingdales when the foundation I needed wasn't in stock at the MAC store, and the people in the department were pretty blatant with the whole commission income thing. However, I lucked out in that the people I interacted with weren't too hardcore with pushing stuff on me that I didn't like. Then again, I did make it blatantly obvious that I had no clue with makeup and I'd buy almost anything.

"I hope it comes to IMAX" was the second thing I said, after "Holy SHIT". Mind, I'd been initially turned off by the whole thing. All the more recent previews/teasers/trailers have won me over. I don't it is, because they usually announce it way in advance. If it makes you a dork then I'm right there with you.
