Is paper appropriate?

While eating breakfast this morning some scrambled eggs attempted to go down the wrong hole. Coughing saved me, but managed to send the eggs way up into my sinuses. I think most of 'em have been dislodged, but my nose is killing me. At this point I'm sort of hoping for a sinus infection to get out of work tomorrow. I had what must have been the worst tension headache ever during my last shift; I just wanted to curl up in a quiet corner with a blanket and pass out.

My five year LJ anniversary has come and gone. I spent a little time looking over the older entries. I was way more forthcoming with personal information back then, but nothing outside of a handful of disgustingly emo entries (my last year of college *was* pretty horrible) was too embarrassing. I had the energy to post longer entries back then too.

I keep saying I'm going to marathon S3 of BSG and S1 of Torchwood before the S4 premiere and the meetup, respectively. Let's see if either of those things happen.

eww, eggs up the nose sounds painful! Yeah, my S3 is still in the box. I've been so tired after work, I walk the dog and just zone out until bed. yeesh, how pathetic! I must watch!

There wasn't so much pain as there was a "crap! cooked unfertilized chicken embryo up my nose!" moment. Then I started wishing I'd come down with something.

I know I can just record the premiere and catch up later but I sort of want to see it before everyone starts chatting about it. And seeing as I missed more than half of s3 (I just became disenchanted by the overt U.S. policy overtones) I have those to see as well. *sigh*
