You know, those rare times I begin ideation I either run across or revisit obit. articles about those that have touched my life in some way (Smith, Leung) and snap out of it. Fast.

It's not worth it.

Wow, people all over the internet are really upset about this. I'm kind of hesitant to admit it, but I must be the only person who has no idea who the guy is. I know he's a musician/singer thanks to the obituary, but has he done anything I might have heard of?

Only if you've seen the movies *The Royal Tennenbaums* or *Good Will Hunting*. His music was featured in both. I remember it vividly from *TRT* - it was a fairly eff'd up scene.
