On Men and Summer

I think it should be mandatory for all heterosexual men to walk this earth for one day in the body of a physically mature woman. Then they'd realize how disturbing it is when half the population's attention is drawn to a certain body part instead of you as a whole. It's finally warmed up to the point where people can venture outside without layers and layers of clothing on and it always gets to me how males are drawn to breasts like they're magnets. Lesbians tend to be more covert about the whole operation (more sensitive perhaps?) but most males can't seem to figure it out. Never realized something could be so degrading and reaffirming at the same time.

*grin* I knew some advocate for males everywhere was going to mention the "A" part. The ass ogling isn't so noteworthy if it's done without vocalizations and/or convulsions, mainly because it occurs after we've passed them by. But, honestly, *you* try to hold a conversation when the other person is looking squarely at your midchest and see how you feel.

Oh, and the part about giving males the body of a physically mature female...probably wouldn't work out. They'd all stay at home, too busy feeling themselves up to bother walking around in public. Come on now, admit it.

Yeah, much like if you were Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane?

I'm sorry it happens to you. And yes, I do think that a guy should have enough self control to meet the eyes of the woman to whom he speaks. And I also think that, failing self-control, that a man should get a good, dark pair of sunglasses.

Um. Yeah.

I resent that. My eyes honestly do just hover to the chest-neck area. Seriously.

And even when guy do actually look at chests, they aren't really thinking anything. Its like your eyes being attracted to the spinning blades of a fan.

That is often the case, we often aren't thinking anything, much less naughty thoughts. Of course, that doesn't make a lot of difference to the woman in question. I'll bet bald men can relate, though.
