If 51 percent of American moviegoers aren't ready for gay marriage, then they're sure as shit not ready for a love affair that combines homosexuality, bestiality, robophilia as well as a little amputee fetishism for good measure.
Uhm, yeah: Cracked is tackling comics again. This article is titled "5 Superhero Movies Scenes They'll Never Let You See" and...omfg, dudes. O-M-tothe-F'ing-G, man. The Ant-Man bit? ::no words::

(I haven't looked at the link yet) But dood, what about Earth Girls are Easy--or the Fly? Or hell, you know Superman had sex, and he was an alien. And we know from Buffy that Robophilia is acceptable. It seems like the only "problem" is homosexuality. Which is...not good.

Umm...go California!

When you put them *all together* though...! Srsly, the example he gives is so screwed up there's no contention possible.

Dude, I had no idea comics were this risque. I've been missing out, apparently. The Ant-Man one was... yeah... slightly disturbing, yet oddly hilarious.

I had no idea either! I mean, I'd caught the whole twincest thing from the Ultimate storyline when they mentioned it a little while back, but Ant-Man's taking things to a whole 'nother level. Not to mention the homophobia from that issue of The Hulk. And everything else the article mentions.

Oh my god... Ant Man... I... my eyes!!!

Dude. You made my day. And by made I mean "scarred" but that's usually a good thing. Sort of.

See how confused that made me?

The author's "that ain't Royal Jelly" seals the deal. I simply cannot believe that was in the comics and not taken from a porno knock-off. Well, maybe. It's just wrongly hilarious.

What about him saying "all right son - your turn"? even if he doesn't mean "son" literally (I can't tell from that little snippet), there's a whole tag-team vibe there that's kinda creepy.

[identity profile] fredericks.livejournal.com 2008-05-17 03:46 pm (UTC)(link)
GAH! That's true! I didn't even think about his two dialogue bubbles at the end there, because I was too busy laughing/being horrified that was in an actual wide-release copy of Avengers. I hope he's saying "Sam", no "son", because working incest into the story as well? Not FTW. Not FTW at all.

But, strangely, still funny. Sue me.

OMG on those comic stories. :P

It even shocked me and I am from California. ;)

*grin* Yeah, you liberal Cali folk. :)
