Argh! The disk ate all my goddamn work!

*sigh*

I didn't save it on the laptop because I thought the laptop would end up going all screwy on me, but instead it was the disk that fucked me over. Dammit, dammit, dammit (Janet)!

I need to find a rock to crawl under and die.

In related news, roomie #2 re-emerged from wherever (is that a word? it is now!) the hell she went. Can you *sense* the enthusiasm pulsing from the monitor?

If so, you're mad.

At least I still have Monopoly on my Palm. Yay.
God, I can't even drum up enthusiasm for that. Fuckity fuck fuck fuck.

Fuck fuck.

How do you know you hate someone?
If you imagine s/he is hanging precariously from the edge of a precipice and you know that you'd not attempt to save him/her if you could.

How do you know you love someone?
If you imagine s/he is hanging precariously from the edge of a precipice and you know that you'd take his/her place in a heartbeat.

My realizations:
a)I don't hate ANYONE.
b)I love a hell of a lot more people than I thought.
c)"Precipice" is deceptively hard to spell.

So there's a damn blackout in NYC. And my brother's at the house ALONE. Or, rather, he's supposed to be at the house. I've tried calling home and the operator tells me the line is busy. I try his cellphone and it doesn't even ring. I reached my cousin and she tells me Darwent didn't show up at work today. Alright...WTF!! Krishna's at home, the alarm's not on (obviously), and I have no idea where my brother is. And my aunts are stuck at work unable to drive...fuckity fuck fuck FUCKING PAPER! FUCKING POWER GRID! ARGH!
