A New Entry that's NOT Quizilla-related
Sep. 25th, 2003 11:57 pmYes, same old, same old. I'm here in mia casa, trying not to go insane in the membrane. The official word from Wincze (after about three weeks of prolonged agony with no word) is that my paper is "good". That's it. Just "good". He also wants to know whether I'm taking the course pass/fail or for a letter grade. Huh. I could have sworn the Experimental Projects course was *mandatory* pass/fail, so color me clueless. I had to have my brother read the e-mail to me (again) because I was such a friggin' chicken. Sigh. But I guess the end is finally in sight.
Resume's up and running at Monster.com. Maybe I'll be lucky and someone will give me a kickass job out of the blue so I don't have to mooch off my folks for long. Or maybe I'll land one of those tech jobs I've been eyeing at Columbia and they'll give me a huge pay raise so I can actually afford to ride the subway into work everyday without resorting to panhandling... :(
I've been listening to BLAM's Happy Feet remix over and over again. It's pretty pathetic. But, then again, the scene it brings to mind is chock-full of pathetic self-pity so I think it might be okay. Brian, put...the scarf...DOWN.
I was looking through my old vid tapes yesterday night in lieu of trying to sink into a sleep full of horrible nightmares where I'm being mocked by all humanity and managed to catch some episodes of Fox's live action version of "The Tick". Anyone remember that baby? Damn that was hilarious. And the guy that played Arthur looked like Hal Sparks' long-lost twin. Grrrrrowl, babee. Oh yeah. HoYay out the yin-yang and a Hal Sparks doppelganger. SPOON! I say, SPOON!!
