Nov. 28th, 2010 10:05 pmI've lost all faith in NBC programming since the whole Heroes debacle, but I caught an ad for the show they having coming out in January called The Cape. I'm still expecting very little (that website doesn't look terribly promising), but it has KEITH DAVID (aka until the end of time "Goliath")!!! Sign me up for the premiere episode, at least.
Thanksgiving was nice, as usual. My turkey was brined and absolutely fabulous, with the initial worry that it might have been too salty proven unfounded. The suck came when I did a quick survey around the room and found that only one other person had to work that Friday, so folks didn't start filing out until after 9:30pm. Joy. The commute that day was nice, if nothing else. The day itself was filled with the usual suck: there are thirteen nurses on my team and eight of them were off on Friday. It worked out that I only had to see one patient, but the entire experience was a doozy that I'm sure I'll be cleaning up well into this week.
Holy crap, was today the first day of Advent? God, I'm so out of things.
Somewhat related - I will be sending out holiday cards this year. If you're on my FL and I sent you a card last year I'll most likely send you one this year. I will put up a post re: addresses if needed. This is 2009's holiday card post If your address has changed and you'd like a card you can drop me a private message. I'm all about the seasonal cheer, I am. :)
