Apr. 23rd, 2011 01:43 amAt the moment I'm very much "Computer! Never leave me!" and am close to cuddling this glowing piece of technology. Braved the Apple Store during lunch hour today to pick up my laptop (that place was crowded as hell! During the middle of the day? That's what I get for forgetting it's a holiday week).
A complete 180 here: there's a co-worker I hang out with on the occasion who's very sweet and friendly but can't seem to grasp that I might be happy not hanging out in clubs and/or being a social butterfly. She keeps stating she's going to "get me out," which makes me snort and roll my eyes on good days and gets me quite close to smacking her across the head most days. But, like I mentioned, she really is good peoples. Even if she's disturbingly chirpy on the occasion.
One of the nurses on my team told me that things were quite disorganized and shitty during my two weeks off and he was happy that I'd returned. I like when I'm not fully taken for granted. Honestly, at this point I'll take whatever faint praise I can get.
