My hair having been chemically tamed into some semblance of normalcy, at the moment I'm prepping for my trip to Vegas. I've never been and while I'd most likely be more enthusiastic if I had money (point - I have to run to the school's FinAid office bright and early tomorrow before the flight to beg for cash to buy my books for the summer; prepping the kneepads, always fun) it should be fun to take in the sights. I plan on snapping lots of pictures and taking a stab at keeping a detailed journal log. One of my biggest regrets from the few trips I've been on was not keeping some sort of in-depth memory book of what went on. Remedied? Perhaps. Hopefully.

It's supposed to be hovering around the mid 90's for the duration of our stay. I don't do heat, abhor and all that jazz. But there's always the loss of water weight to look forward to.

I know what you mean about making a journal. I always try to do that because when I'm on the trip I'm sure that I'll remember everything, but as the years go by it all turns into a blur.

I'm sure you'll have a great time!

I'm sure you'll have fun in Las Vegas. I've been a couple times and it does get expensive even if you don't gamble. The tram that they run between hotels is excellent and I highly recommend buying a day pass for it (10 or 20 bucks, I think). It's a fast, easy way to visit all the different hotels without dealing with the traffic on the Strip and finding a parking spot that isn't in Guam.

There is some cool free stuff to see...the lion exhibit at MGM Grand, the pirate show at Treasure Island, the Mirage volcano, and my favorite, the fountains at Bellagio. And of course you can drink for free at most of the casinos even if you're only playing the penny slots. :) Have fun!
