I'm up at four in the morning after awaking from an attempt to sleep off the sore throat/fever thing I seem to have developed over the course of yesterday evening (result: decidedly unsuccessful). I head downstairs to make a cup of tea and indulge in toast slathered in lingonberry sauce, and flick on the TV to waste time as I munch away. Sportscenter isn't on yet, so I end up flicking back and forth between Code Blue on Discovery Health and Surviving the Impact 3 ("3"?) on TNT, or whatever the hell channel 3 is on NYC Time Warner Cable. It's either TNT or TBS. Anyway, Impact goes on commercial so I flick back to Code Blue. After a couple of minutes on Code Blue I get bored and go back to Impact...and am greeted by two bouncy silicon-perky completely bare breasts. It would seem that after 4:30 is prime time for local escort services to advertise on TNT/TBS. Trust me when I say I don't have a problem with bouncy perky bare breasts (hmm - I should have found a "b" word substitute for "perky", right?), but this is noteworthy because a)I was expecting more video footage of people "miraculously" making it out of fucked up accidents, not b) well-lit softcore porn (there was everything but visible penetration, folks) advertising "Hot Asians" , and c) the audio soundtrack for Impact and all the "regular" commercial programming was still playing. Who knew?
