That makes so much sense. Hollywood's trying to systematically erase Dolph Lundgren from the nation's mind. Frankly, I'm all for that.
You know, I feel like I've seen the He-Man movie (in theatres, no less!) but I can't recall it. All in all, from what I've heard, that's a good thing. I was a big He-Man (and Thundercats, and Silverhawks, and Voltron...) fan, and while my family never found it in them to buy *me* any of the figures (I don't know; something to do with me having a vagina, I think) my brother had He-Man, Battlecat, and a Skeletor set which he promptly broke to all hell.
I remember when I was a sophomore (?) in HS, and they brought He-Man and Thundercats back on Cartoon Network. We were all in chem lab, psyched. You'd think Christ was making a second coming. Then we watched them...and realized how corny the stories were. We really didn't mention them again.
Depending on who they cast and what direction they take the story, I'll watch. He-Man was just straight up action for action's sake. If we get one of those emotion-ladden vehicles (akin to Hulk, say) I'll have to pass.
But you can see a young Courtney Cox in it if you want. She-YEAH. Let me pencil that into my schedule. *grin* Not.
My God, Watson, I think you're onto something!
