One little highlight of my day: some church in the area occasionally breaks out with bell songs. Tonight someone from over there played one of my favorite songs, Schubert's Ave Maria. It was such a moving moment. It was night, I was laying in bed sort of groggy, the TV playing, and I heard the angelic tones of the song coming from somewhere. Softly, floating in the air. I laid back, muted the TV, cracked the window, and took it all in. Wonderful, truly. I'm tearing up a bit just thinking about it. I hope they continue this beyond the Christmas season.
