I went on an ice cream run due to the extreme heat and wound up walking out with more than ice cream. Oh, and called my Daddy today, since it's his birthday.

You're one of the most awesome people I know, and I'm so glad we became friends.

If "yes", good job!! *grin*
Happy Belated Birthday, Lynn's dad whom doesn't know who I am and will probably never read this or be told about this.

Ah, yes. Ralph. "My mouth tastes like burning!" Is he even on the show anymore? Or do they not have time to feature him, what with all the celebrities they have on. They're turning into Will and Grace over there, I swear.

Aww! In the immortal words of Ralph, "You choo-choo-choose me!"

Date: 2005-07-04 06:57 am (UTC)I am currently reading a short story collection, Tigers are Better Looking, by Jean Rhys, which I think is worth reading. Jean Rhys is known primarily for writing the novel, Wide Sargasso Sea, which in my opinion is a great novel that also worth reading.

I caught up on doing some laundry. Yeah, it was that type of day. :/

You seem to read quite a bit, which includes everything from novels to comic books. It seems like you are a college student, who might be majoring in something biology related. You seem to be a big fan of several television shows.

Date: 2005-07-04 01:36 pm (UTC)Oddly enough, I have Wide Sargasso Sea. I've never read it, but I have it. I "borrowed" it from my aunt about 14 years ago. I found myself intrigued by the notion that there might be some "dirty parts" in the book, since the movie had come out a little while before and all the press around it made it seem, to my naive ears, like the filthiest thing since "Last Tango In Paris". And you know how young kids like the smut. I flipped through a little, didn't find anything particularly racy, and put it back on my bookshelf. If you recommend it I'll give it another try, and hunt for Tigers Are Better Looking next time I head to the library.

My friend, never underestimate the thrill that is Mountain Breeze-scented sheets.

I majored in Psychology. Now, because I am jobless, bereft, and living with my parents some two years later (*sigh*) I'm going to become an RN.
