List five idiosyncrasies you have.
I highly doubt these make me unique in any way; they're just quirks that I have.
1. Every night before I go to bed I must take a shower. There's a routine involved. If I have to relieve myself I go before I shower. I slosh some mouthwash around in my mouth and jump in the tub. I then proceed to wash my face with face wash (duh) and brush my teeth while in the shower. When I emerge I use lotion (in the winter) or baby oil (in the summer) on my skin, powder under the 'pits, put on my undies, slip on my clean sleepwear, and then head to bed. Any deviation from the rough order leaves me out-of-sorts come morning.
2. I hate when people brush their hair/pick their noses/play with their faces while sitting/standing near me on the the subway. I can just visualize the minuscule particules and microbes moseying on over to me. Ugh.
3. If I'm really hungry I can't eat more than a couple of spoon-fulls of food before suddenly feeling nauseous. And no, I don't shovel it down. All of a sudden I just feel the bile rising and I have to put the food down before I upchuck, even if it's a meal I usually enjoy.
4. I cannot stand plays of any type, from Shakespeare to modern-age ones. If it's a musical I can somehow soldier through, but plays make me want to plug my ears and singsong "la la la - I can't hear you!" really loud. I blame it on a youth full of inflicted "educational plays" at local colleges that were sucky.
5. I always carry a book on me. If walking long distances I always have to carry a CD player, CDs, and a new set of batteries (just in case).
