Post and Run (Long Weekend Edition)
Feb. 14th, 2009 12:14 amMarginally less of "teh suck" going on. Still getting a paycheck, but for how long? (we're getting audited next week. oh, Paterson; it's personal, isn't it?). Started classes last week. Writing class = fun. Spanish = perhaps a waste of time. Getting home at 11:30pm and having to wake up around 6am? Not fun. At all. But I'll take it.
Stuck in my head:
2 millions hits so far, and I'm pretty sure 50k of those are from my ISP.
How much do I love this show? While watching the episode during its premiere as soon as Barney mentioned Barney's Video Resume.com I typed it into Safari and, voila!, wonderfulness in both Awesome and Not as Awesome resolution.
Club Mix! The visual there is such a waste of time.
Yet another waste of time? This year's NYC Comic Con. I think Dragon-Con spoiled me but good. I spent maybe an hour wandering the floor Friday and two hours there Saturday. Bro and I actually may have spent more time lounging in the Travel Show that was also taking place in Javitz than we did in Con. Mike Carey was there signing, but I never know what to say to these folk besides "omg, love your books!" so I didn't bother to stand on the autograph line. I left some scathing comments in the Con feedback survey, though. They shall feel my ire.
Lots of talking on BSG this week. Didn't interest me enough to put the closed caption on, so the television was kept muted throughout. I figure I'll catch up via a recap.
