Home stretch
Apr. 18th, 2009 10:08 pmHere's the rub: I really really like my laptop (
atraxia can attest to the fact that I carry the damn thing *everywhere*), but I came to the conclusion that I spend more time than I should on it. So I've avoided picking it up for the last five or so days. It's not like I have copious amounts of free time as is, but on the days mentioned I've managed to read through the entire Times, the most recent issues of my nursing mags, and I've breezed through two books (halfway through Book 4 in Codex Alera). It's been a change of pace, but I'm still finding the overall lack of free time (I must be the slowest nurse working for my company, because I have a hella hard time believing any of my co-workers are out from 8am to 7-8pm like I usually am) nut-suckingly horrible. Then again, I might just be bitter because it's my weekend to work and I was trudging around Manhattan today rushing to see eight patients on the most beautiful day EVER! OMG!. And it's 10pm and I'm tired and I still have work to finish and I have six patients and another admission tomorrow and boo boo give me lollipops. *sigh*
Haven't been keeping up with my FL but you guys rock sock (you know who you are), and I feel for you (you also know who you are), and I'm going to revel in your collective awesomeness come Monday when I'll have a moment to catch my breath.
