snacktastic,
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to!
1. Queens of the Stone Age, "Long Slow Goodbye"
2. Queens of the Stong Age, "This Lullaby"
3. The damned Shakira song, a remix of La Tortura that keeps playing on the local pop station
4. System of a Down, "Hypnotize"
5. 6. 7. Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, the whole lot of 'em.
Tags to anyone who wishes to participate. I'm lazy right now. Dude! Early Saturday morning.

The rules: If you get tagged, you must post an entry listing 5 "weird habits" that you possess.
1. In order to get a good night's rest I must take a shower before going to bed.
2. I brush my teeth and wash my face while in the shower.
3. I have yet to find a purse that I like, so I tend to tote my green messenger bag everywhere. This is because I hate to go out without a book and/or a CD player. It's weird only when I'm dressed up formally with this multicolored green bag slung over my shoulder.
4. I don't like to sit on my bed while wearing any clothes I've had on during the day. Keeps the subway filth off of my sheets.
5. I've got nothing. I'm surprisingly not that weird anymore. I don't know what's happening to me.
Okay peeps, I want to hear from you. Stolen shameless from

I try to keep the whining to a minimum. Sometimes, you know, it pops out, but I do try to keep things in perspective. Thanks for letting me know I'm at least moderately successful. :)
2. a book: Liquor by Poppy Z. Brite
I read Liquor, I think. The bad thing for Brite was that I read it almost immediately after I'd read Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential. Even though she acknowledged in the introduction and in the dedication page that Liquor was "inspired" by Bourdain's book, it still came off as major fanfic to me. I much preferred the weirdness of her earlier works, although the one with the serial killer was too weird even for me.
What color are your eyes, btw?
