'Lo to fozebare from New York! Thanks for the text last night. Quite unexpected. No fair you not having the text option in your journal as well. :)

I'm alive, but barely. Yes. I promise to hunker down with a nice cup of ginger+peppermint tea, engage in lots of FL entry reading, and do oodles of commenting this evening. Scout's honor.

Vincent was my favorite FFVII character, btw. I was in the throes of my Anne Rice fascination when I started playing VII and I enjoyed playing with the ambiguous vampire on my team. Of course now I get him a little confused with Irvine, just because of the whole gun thing. You couldn't customize bullets for Vincent, right?

Typically I go for ginger, but when I went to the store the brand of ginger I usually get was sold out. Completely. As in shelves empty with little dust bunnies running across. Ginger peppermint was my fallback choice and it's only "okay"; it has more bite to it than the mild ginger I'm used to.

*grin* Aww! You're awesome, thanks for looking out for me. I'll pop in and bug your friend if the need arises. I have a couple of nurses in my family who'll be my first line of "being bugged" (my aunt's an RN and my grandmother was an LPN).

I drink the ginger peppermint only because the regular ginger was completely sold out. It was ridiculous. This brand of ginger peppermint has a real kick to it that the ginger I like didn't. It works to keep me alert and going, though. I don't think I've ever had hibiscus tea. Or I might have had it blended in with another bloom and called something New Age-y like "Lotus Bloom Awakening" or "Relaxation"...those aren't real New Age-y but my brain is tired. :)

I'm not sick in body, more like sick in mind or spirit. The week's been trying in ways I haven't seen before. I think journaling about it might help but I just have to find the energy to sit down and stop avoiding everything.
