Ugh, I hear you on the fic thing. Cliffhangers I can deal with, mainly because I have to deal with them in books all of the time. Heheh. But some fandoms are so overrun with Mary Sues and just generally bad fics it's not even funny. Speaking of impossible to find fics, I wish there were bigger fandoms (minus the Sues) for books I've read. I could really go for a huge pile of Cheysuli fics right now.
