Reason to be psyched today:
-FF Advent Children comes out on DVD dubbed and ready-to-go.
No, I didn't download it.
No, I'm not spoilered.
Yes, Sephiroth is the ultimate bishie.
...
No, that's not why I like him or the idea of the movie.
Yes, the ending of FFVII was a great "WTF" moment in gaming history.

Reasons to find a desk:
-Paper due in 10 hours. Lots of articles, little focus.
-Pharm exam in two days. Little studying has occurred. Again, focusing difficult.
-Finals/comprehensives in two weeks. Not thinking about the "f" word.

I spotted Advent Children in my local supermarket earlier on tonight
Will I buy it?
Nope...

I was naughty - I downloaded it...
and that scene with Cloud and Seph in bed.... damn... ;)

Basically, it's a film of almost nothing but massive fights - it's great.

If my brother doesn't buy it I think I'll look for it in Blockbuster Video. I can't imagine it'll be so good that I'll watch it more than once. I just want an explanation. Or a make-up for the lamest ending this side of lame endings. Just... no endless boss fights and I'll be okay with closure.

I think you'll like Advent Children. I can see where non-FFVII fans might be like "Uh, I didn't like it", but fans of the game should be happy. I know I was. ^_^

Urgh, college royally sucks sometimes. Like when your astronomy professor spends half an hour going over test answers and then randomly says "Oh yeah, chapters 16-18 are going to be on the f---- too" (when you basically have one class period to cover all three chapters). Man I hate that class.

I played Final Fantasy before I was seriously into boys (I was a late bloomer) but was still trying to figure out whether I'd want to "play" with XXers or the XY crowd. Sephiroth confused the hell out of me. I don't doubt a good number of my generation owe prolonged sexual confusion to that bishie.

It's not that I don't like astronomy, it's that the teacher is totally inept. I'm convinced a chimpanzee could teach a better class.
Not to mention I would completely crash and burn on something like Pharmacology. Science like that isn't my thing at all, which is why I'm majoring in International Affairs.

Yep, it's part of the whole "Compilation of FFVII" thing. (Advent Children is also part of it) It's called something like "Dirge of Ceberus" and Vincent is the main character.
If you go to www.adventchildren.net they should have some stuff about it.
It's already out in Japan, but I haven't heard anything about other release dates.

Forgot to add - thanks to Astronomy class I'm pretty sure my first born son will be named Deneb. It just has a nice ring to it. As long as the kid avoids people that speak Arabic he should be good. :)
