Ulterior Motivation

The only reason I made it through the boring as fuck Nursing Research class was because our guest lecturer was rockin' a lovely Aussie accent. Not only did I manage to stay in class and stay awake but I actually asked a few questions.

Now to attempt to stay in the computer lab and do some work, because once I head home I'm going to be tempted to plop on my bed and sleep until clinical.

It's amazing what an accent can do. I caught myself listening to a religious radio program for about 15 minutes because the speaker had the best Scotish burr ever!

Religious, eh? Hee. I know! A few of us were waxing on the foreign teachers we'd had on the way to class as well. It's the best when they sound wonderful and yet you have no idea what's being said.

I love the accent. I actually don't know any outside of a LJ friend or two. :)
