Whose Voodoo Would You Do? - A maybe weekly feature where fredericks tries her damnedest to disprove the notion that she's not batshit crazy. Music groups past present AND future (admire the skills) will be presented and all you have to do is pick which member you'd, you know, do. Forget sexual orientation of the do-er (yourself) and the do-ees (the options) and just choose. Justifying one's choice is always welcome. Calls for an intervention? not so much.

This week's group, courtesy of lab_brat and Ain't It Cool News. A quote from the site:

WB animation is remaking the Thundercats as an animated TV series. The animation style is whimsical, Americanized-anime, along the lines of Teen Titans. The setting is modern-day Earth, in a major city (possibly LA) The Thundercats are all teenagers.
Their leader is Snarf (!) who is now a mystic with a "third" eye.
Each of the Thundercats has a weapon with an "Eye of Thunderra" and transformative powers(not just Lion-O)
When they aren't fighting evil, the Thundercats play together as a rock band. That's not a typo, or a joke. They are rockin' cats in their present form.
Mum-Ra now has wings.

No image, because...have you ever tried Google-ing or Yahoo-ing "Thundercats"? The images that come up will put you off food for a good long while. Cosplayers? just say no. PLEASE.

BWAH! But that's the *point*. All of them are wrong, dang it. You mean to tell me you've never spent nights geeking out over randomness with your friends? These things harken back to me holding discussion over topics like "Superman vs. Spiderman" or "which Bangles is the most attractive" or "what really is wrong with Michael Jackson". The polls just take it all to their next absurd step.

Quite a few years back, I would have chosen Tygra, because choosing Cheetara wouldn't have crossed my mind, but now that I'm older, wiser (and not bent, but not narrow), it's definetly Cheetara. She's just the cool and I always loved her best of all.

Cheetara was my favorite Thundercat growing up. I gravitated towards most female characters in animation/fantasy because they were so damn rare, but she was just really cool. Tygra always struck me as being a little...slow? But I voted for him just because I'm arbitrary.

Damn shame about her not having any nipples, though. That first episode was quite a mindfrak, wasn't it?
