I am oh-so-fullo snot. It's like the Tick SnotMonster took up residence in my sinuses, fer serious. But I work because, you know what?, who else is going to wrangle demented old women at 3 o'clock in the morning? 

Worked without a preceptor for the first time last night. It was stressful as all frell, but I survived! even if I ended up staying behind an extra hour to get all of my charting done. The wrangling old women line? completely true. That lady was the main reason I ended up so behind in the first place. Well, her and (another!) GI bleed patient, although this one was much more stable than the last. I go back again tonight and I do hope things are quieter. After this shift -three days off in a row, babee! ::is stoked::

My BF from HS e-mailed me after more than a year of non-communication to ask me to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. Here begins my "always the bridesmaid" routine. I'm thrilled for her, of course. Just this side of bitter, that's all. 

Why are there no goddamned Wiis anywhere in this blasted city?!?!?!?

Can't find Wii's to much around here either.
However if you find them then you can't find the wii remotes. It seems like all the controlers you can find are the classic ones.

What is *with* the whole lack of supply thing? At first I wondered it Nintendo wanted to boost the sale of its DS's that way, but then the DS seems to be sold out as well...which either proves or disproves my original hypothesis, I'm unsure.

I figure I might end up shelling out for a bundle that's around $560 in March if I get desperate, but as it is...? Ack.

If I'd known I'd end up feening for the new Zelda game like a crack addict for the pipe I would have gotten my hands on it way back when. As it is I keep stalking out the Nintendo Store at Rockefeller Center and they keep giving me the whole "limited supply/get here at least an hour before the store opens" bull. I mean, you're the NINTENDO STORE!?!? You mean to tell me you're only going to 'fess up to getting ten Wiis a day? Liars, all of them. And to what end? I ask.

I'm completely jealous of your Wii ownage, btw.

Anyone who's been my friend for any number of years knows to expect breaks in communication. We've had two such breaks in the past and we manage to pick right back up where we were after a short time. I'd say its more a dysfunction on my part than a negative of our friendship, and yes, it is quite odd. ::shrug::

My girlfriend just called me out of the blue after being incommunicado for over a year also! Hmmm....

My brother and I have combed high and low, it's ridiculous. Even the Nintendo Store doesn't seem to have a steady supply.

Sorry to hear about the snot-monster attack. I haven't been looking for a wii but now out of curiosity, I will. There was one at wal-mart about a month ago. I have to shop tomorrow or wed. want me to check? I could ship it to you. I don't know if that will do you any good, but the offer is there! Feel better!

*grin* You're too sweet. There's no need to go through the purchase/shipping thing for me. I can hold out for a little bit while we check for it around here. I would be curious to see how good the supply is around your way. I've been hearing from different people on my FL that they're finding it as hard to find a Wii as I am.
