I had a fabulously good night. Of course, I ended up floating. Methinks half my problems come from working on my floor with my crew. Anywhozit, I was actually smiling on the way home for once.

Picked up TurboTax with the hopes of doing my taxes this evening. I really (reallyreallyreally) need a substantial refund this year. This is the first time since I've filed that I can't claim having paid college tuition, and I'm hoping that doesn't hurt the numbers too much. Also went by Blockbuster and picked up a crapload of movies (three nights off!), among them the Dragonlance animated flick we (as in "the nerdish lot") have been waiting for. Hopefully the cover isn't an indication of the quality of the product inside because...shyeah, things ain't lookin' good so far. I'm gonna have my snark at the ready and post a quasi-review when I'm done watching.

Best question ever, which was posted to me by a young lady at Starbucks - "do you have the internet?" I paused, looked at her, and repeated the question under my breath. I was so tempted to reply "nah, babe; the internet, it's a free spirit that no one can contain". But I just said "yes", grabbed my iced coffee, and smothered my laughing fit with a sip of beverage.

You mean to say that you don't personally harness the power of the internet? I like to keep the internet hostage in a box under my bed.

I don't keep it underneath the bed, because I like my internet to get a little exercise. I just housebroke my internet, actually. I'm going to start taking it out to internet runs, get it socialized, you know.
