Apparently I have massive man hands (wanna see?). So massive that I can't find a banded woman's watch that fits me unless it's from Swatch. And my ginormous size 10 feet make it impossible for me to find shoes in stores. And, oh yes, all the three-star spicy Thai food I had for dinner has decided to cause a fire in my gut that's keeping me up. And let's not forget the GODDAMN SPARROWS SINGING OUTSIDE MY WINDOW AT 1:17 IN THE MORNING. Where are the hawks when you need them, dammit.

Work should be so much bloody fun.

I think I'll just give up and read more Dresden until I have to officially wake up.

I've done this, too! I actually finished the first Dresden novel on a night when my neighbors decided to have an all night party with thumping music.

I've just wrapped up Proven Guilty and picked up White Knight a few minutes ago. When I put Proven Guilty down earlier I was at the beginning of the big showdown at Arctis Tor, and that's a pretty horrible place to stop because that entire section rocks hard. And, I mean, even though I've read it already I still kept feeling like I *needed* to keep going. I actually think Proven Guilty might be my favorite book of the lot, even though it is just 460+ pages of rip-roaring set-up.

My sparrows are obviously the Harvard graduates of the bunch, and have decided that it's entirely too bright and full of predator-free areas when the sun's out, so they must lurk outside of my window and play frakkin' annoying sparrow games. They sang from about 1 until 2, took a little break (maybe they hit a pub?) and started *right* back up again around 2:45. Gah.

S'mores are awesome. That is all.
