* The Sorceror's Apprentice? A pretty awful movie. Nic Cage was surprisingly not bad in it, though. If the writing hadn't been so lazy and the story itself SO hackneyed and cliched I might not have walked out of the theatre wishing I'd spent the previous two hours at home showering and drying my hair.
*The Magicians by Lev Grossman? 98 pages in and not awful. It's hard not to compare it to Harry Potter, though. Not in terms of style, but when it comes to characters and characterization. A nice fun read so far.
*Repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Paves Way For Gay Sex Right on Battlefield, Opponents Fantasize, by The Onion? (one photo contained not really safe for work) I nearly fell out of my seat on the subway during my ride home Friday. I was amused.
*Paul Rudd, when he's not going around looking half in a bowl, is a gorgeous man. I say this after staring at his lovely grey eyes as on a wall-spanning poster for Dinner for Schmucks during my escalator ride down to civilization in the theatre.
Yep. That's about it from me.
