Does stuffy clothing automatically equal Brit accent? I think they just pick an accent and make everyone do it so as not to be disorienting. Why it has to be British, I don't know--when it comes to the Borgias I'm just glad they're not trying to sound Italian :/
It'd make more sense for Westeros if everyone had an accent like they should--like everyone from the north sounds one way, everyone in Kings Landing another... but hey. They invented a language for it. I'm all right.
I did find myself wondering if they aged up Daenerys at all I think I saw... someone somewhere talking about this once. Can't recall exactly, but I think they did because there was a reference to, "There's one character who's supposed to be married at 14 and obviously we couldn't have that..." and I figured that was her.
"I can't stomach someone who would kill children"... HAHAHA... I actually tried to read the first book when I was 16, just after it came out... and had to put it down because of that. (Guess who my favorite character is now? Yep. Love him.)
the Thor in this movie is not actually a god. Trying to not offend the red states, maybe? Oh god, I hadn't thought of that. I'll bet you're right :/
