fredericksYou really don't want to hear the same old speech about finding a job when you're tired, your feet hurt, you stink, and you've worked for 13 hours. You really don't want to hear it when one of your co-workers gave you the same speech out-of-the-blue while on the job.
She always finds precisely the right time to stab me. I would have mentioned the whole "no job in psychology available for one with a B.Sc." but then she would have started with the grad school talk. And I just didn't have the energy. I just stood there looking at her like a dumb cow, waited until she was done, placed the Ajax I had so kindly retrieved for her carefully on the kitchen counter, and then trudged upstairs.
All this because I have to wash the same black slacks and white dress shirt every two days or so.
