I just informed my manager that I was out of here on the 26th. Impromptu, spur-of-the-moment admission. And I realized, when I said it, that I could most likely afford being out of work for at least a week or two once school started up. And even if the job I was looking at a block or two from campus and the academic assistant position thing fell through, I could at least look out for a work study gig, craptacular though it may be (for some bizarre reason I was only alloted $900 in work study aid for the entire 2004-2005 school year; who the hell can live on $900 for 9 months?!??).

God, I can taste the freedom in the air as I use the POS to type this up.
