An update

So, to recap the last few days:

• There was a culling at the Shack. My manager was fired yesterday (understandably so; she's great, but very sloppy) and ratted on (not understandable; dude's such a jackass). Another employee, who's currently on vacation, may be fired as well. Because of the manager change-over we have ANOTHER inventory come this Tuesday. I'd quit now, to avoid another night of gun and reconcile nightmares, but I need to keep my insurance up until I can get to a gyno, a gen doc, and a dentist (this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, respectively).
  
  
• My great-uncle who was up from Trinidad had a stroke. He's in the hospital right now, and we really don't know what's going on. Not really close to him, so it doesn't make me weepy or anything, but he is my grandmother's brother and such. The family's sort of wondering what to do. And I'm sort of wondering who the fuck is going to foot his medical bills.
  
  
• My aunt asked me to stay by her house this week as she's going to Florida (with her kids and my brother) and she needs someone to watch my great-grandmother. It's good in that I'll have access to On Demand cable (all the Six Feet Under I could wish for! Yes!). It's sort of crappy in that I won't have any time to myself (like how I'm unabashedly selfish, right? Well, deal with it).
  
  
• I really really need a perm. And a manicure. And a facial.
  I just need to feel pretty, that's all. Too much to ask for, I suppose.
  
  
• Got called back for the Academic Assistant position. I go in on Monday and see what those people want. I hope I get at least 20 hours over there. I need it.
  
  
• Pre-ordered Fable. Also applied for a job at a local Gamestop. Maybe they'll call me back and surprise me ::fingers crossed::
  
  
• My back hurts. *whimper*
  
  
  Yeah, that's about it.

*rubs back* awe.. well at least you get to go to florida.. i was supposed to go this summer but that didn't happen.. and my aunt is now asking me about going next month.. but i got school and work to deal with next month.. so i don't think it's gonna happen. good luck all the job issues and getting the other job :D

I'm not actually going to Florida. My aunt is going to Florida, and she's asking me to go by her house (here) and watch my great-grandma.

Eh, I don't want to be in Florida right now anyway. I can't stand that state in August. It's either 100 degrees or thunderstorming. Sometimes on the same day.
